Merchandise Coordinator (Creative & Operations)

Job & Location Los Angeles, CA Type – Contract (3 Months) Pay Rate – $27.00 Per Hour (W2 Only) Position Summary This role supports the day-to-day operations of a custom merchandise program, combining creative design work with operational coordination. The position focuses on product sourcing, vendor management, and creating visually compelling presentations for merchandise concepts. You will also provide support to retail and e-commerce merchandising efforts, assisting with product setup, visual materials, and operational coordination. This role is ideal for someone who is both detail-oriented and creatively driven, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Source products and vendors for custom merchandise initiatives, evaluating cost, quality, timelines, and fit Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, managing quotes, purchase orders, and delivery timelines Gather requirements from internal teams and stakeholders, including specifications, budgets, and branding needs Design and produce presentation decks, product mockups, and concept boards for merchandise proposals Create visual assets such as product mockups, logo placements, color variations, and layout concepts Build and present proposals including pricing comparisons, timelines, and vendor recommendations Maintain organized records of vendors, product catalogs, pricing, and project tracking documents Support inventory tracking and coordinate order fulfillment and delivery Assist with product setup and visual merchandising support for retail and online store operations Track budgets and monitor spend against projections Collaborate with cross-functional teams including creative, procurement, retail, and operations Identify opportunities to improve workflows, documentation, and presentation standards Qualifications & Skills 3+ years of experience in merchandise operations, product sourcing, vendor management, or related areas Strong design skills with the ability to create polished presentations and product mockups Proficiency in: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) Experience applying branding and logos to merchandise (apparel, promotional items, retail products) Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Understanding of vendor processes including quotes, purchase orders, production timelines, and logistics Experience tracking budgets, comparing vendor bids, and managing program costs Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Preferred Qualifications Experience with custom merchandise, branded apparel, promotional products, or print vendors Familiarity with retail or e-commerce product coordination #J-18808-Ljbffr Odesus, Inc.
