Staff Tax Accountant

Job Description M & R CPAs, LLP is a small-sized CPA firm. We are seeking an Accountant to add to our team. This position is for part-time per diem or full-time. Salary to be negotiated based on experience. Responsibilities Organize and enter client data into tax prep software Ensure client confidentiality by following all company procedures regarding information handling Meet client service expectations through the efficient, timely and accurate completion of the assigned tasks Communicate interactively with engagement team members Provide backup to support the team, when necessary Maintain and expand knowledge base in area of expertise Qualifications Minimum 1.5 years experience. Bachelor's degree or higher required. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of basic financial and accounting concepts involved in tax return preparation and financial statements, preferred A professional demeanor and the ability to handle matters confidentially Experience with QuickBooks or related software.
