Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to analyze the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, guaranteeing a detailed understanding of their mental health needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with clients’ goals, preferences, and clinical requirements, using best practices from methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Support clients and their families by providing education about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies, thereby enhancing their understanding and management of their conditions.

• Monitor and assess client progress continually, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes for each individual.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive care, ensuring all aspects of a client’s health are addressed.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current research and developments in mood disorder treatment methodologies to continuously refine therapeutic interventions.

• Document all client interactions and treatment progress accurately and confidentially, adhering strictly to legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on clients dealing with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will work closely with a variety of populations, such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs and experiences of each client. Your empathy and expertise will be integral in guiding clients towards their long-term recovery and improved quality of life.

Qualifications\n
