We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant to support daily HR operations for an on-site team. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can step in quickly and bring prior experience handling administrative tasks within an HR environment. The role focuses on delivering organized, confidential support across onboarding, hiring coordination, and employee documentation while maintaining a thoughtful and service-focused approach.

Responsibilities:
• Guide new employees through onboarding steps and help coordinate orientation activities to ensure a smooth start.
• Maintain personnel records and organize sensitive employee documentation with a high level of accuracy and discretion.
• Review and process I-9 forms and related employment paperwork to support compliance requirements.
• Assist with background screening and other pre-employment steps to help move candidates efficiently through the hiring process.
• Support recruiting activities by updating applicant tracking records and arranging interviews with candidates and hiring teams.
• Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the HR function, including document preparation, record updates, and general coordination.
• Use HRIS tools to enter, update, and manage employee information in a timely and accurate manner.• Previous experience in human resources support, HR administration, or a related administrative role.
• Working knowledge of onboarding procedures, employee records management, and general HR coordination.
• Familiarity with I-9 documentation, background checks, and other pre-employment compliance activities.
• Experience using HRIS platforms or similar systems to manage employee and recruiting information.
• Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential employee information.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment.
• Hospitality industry experience is helpful, but not required.
