As a Paralegal Professional, you will:
Day to Day Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated Paralegal Professional to support our Head of Tax and Management team in a growing global commodities trading organization. This role is ideal for a legal professional with corporate governance experience who enjoys drafting legal documentation, maintaining corporate records, and supporting compliance initiatives across multiple jurisdictions. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the company's continued growth following a recent international merger.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal and administrative support to the Head of Tax and Management on corporate governance matters.
• Draft, review, and maintain corporate legal documents, including board resolutions, meeting minutes, consents, and governance documentation.
• Maintain corporate records, entity files, statutory books, and organizational documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist with domestic and international entity management, corporate filings, and governance activities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support merger, acquisition, and corporate restructuring activities by preparing legal documentation and maintaining transaction records.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external legal counsel, and business partners to facilitate governance and compliance initiatives.
• Monitor corporate filing deadlines and ensure timely completion of legal and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct legal research and assist in preparing documentation for special projects and corporate initiatives.
• Organize and maintain confidential legal files, contracts, and governance records.
• Assist with additional legal, compliance, and operational projects as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:
Required Skills & Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably supporting corporate governance or an in-house legal department.
• Experience drafting corporate governance documents and maintaining corporate records.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and legal documentation.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

Success Profile

• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or corporate restructuring initiatives.
• Experience working within a global or multinational organization.
• Exposure to commodities trading, energy, oil & gas, or other corporate business environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with executives, tax professionals, legal counsel, and cross-functional business teams.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range *: $80,000 - $130,000 per Annum
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

Benefits: Provided by the client as this is a Direct Hire position.
