Associate Chemistry - Environment Testing - Wet Chemistry - 3rd Shift, M-F

Associate Chemist role preparing and analyzing environmental samples using standard analytical techniques in a wet chemistry laboratory. Position operates on third shift (11pm-7:30am) with first shift training, requiring chemistry knowledge and laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare environmental samples and perform chemical analysis using standard techniques
• Evaluate, quantify, and record analytical data with attention to unusual occurrences
• Perform routine instrument maintenance and operate specialized laboratory equipment
• Maintain current training documentation and complete assigned quality control samples
• Document non-conformances and manage personal workload using backlog reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Chemistry or related field, or two years laboratory experience
• Authorization to work in United States without sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English, written and verbal
• Experience with wet chemistry methods and laboratory or production settings preferred
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills for data interpretation and calculations
• Ability to follow written protocols and work with minimal supervision
• Effective communication and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities

Compensation: $18-19/hour plus 10% shift differential
