Job Title Physician – Cardiovascular Medicine, Cardiac Inflammation Program, Electrophysiology (Open Rank/Track Faculty) Department The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Wexner Medical Center seek an academic cardiologist with a clinical or translational research program in cardiac inflammation to join the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. Position Overview The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a board‑certified/board‑eligible cardiac inflammation physician/physician‑scientist with an extramurally funded clinical or translational research program. The successful candidate will lead the Cardiac Inflammation Program, build research across cardiovascular disease disciplines, and focus on both routine and complex cardiovascular care, including inpatient and outpatient consultative and primary services at the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital. The candidate will also contribute to advanced heart and vascular care at the university and may serve as a principal investigator on multiple research projects. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate clinical services and research for the Cardiac Inflammation Program. Conduct clinical care and consultative services in inpatient and outpatient settings. Develop and advance extramurally funded research projects in cardiovascular immunology. Mentor trainees and collaborate with other faculty across the Division. Requirements Board eligible / certified. Successful completion of a US‑accredited cardiology fellowship. Eligible for an Ohio license. Clinical or translational extramurally funded research preferred. Academic appointment at The Ohio State University commensurate with previous training and experience (rank and salary).
