Client Accountant

Compensation: Up to $75,000, commensurate with experience Employment Type: Full-Time | Hybrid Schedule Are you an accounting professional who enjoys working directly with clients and building strong professional relationships? We are partnering with a growing accounting and tax services group that is seeking a Client Accountant to engage with incoming clients and help guide them through their bookkeeping and tax service needs. What You'll Do: Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming clients seeking bookkeeping and tax services. Meet with new clients to understand their business operations, accounting needs, and financial goals. Help onboard new clients and guide them through the process of getting established with the accounting and tax team. Gather and organize financial and accounting information to support a smooth client setup and transition. Build strong professional relationships with clients and provide a high level of ongoing service. Act as a liaison between clients and internal accounting and tax professionals. Assist clients with bookkeeping needs and ensure they are connected with the appropriate services and resources. Work with clients involved in S Corporation, C Corporation, individual, and partnership tax returns . Communicate accounting and tax-related information in a clear, professional, and client-friendly manner. Maintain accurate and organized client records while handling confidential financial information. Follow up with clients to ensure their needs are being addressed and provide a positive overall client experience. Collaborate closely with internal accounting and tax professionals to support client satisfaction and retention. What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Strong accounting and bookkeeping experience. Experience working with clients in an accounting, bookkeeping, or tax-focused environment. Familiarity with S Corporations, C Corporations, individual, and partnership tax returns. Someone who genuinely enjoys front-facing client interaction and relationship management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities. Professional, personable, and comfortable serving as a trusted point of contact. Ability to understand client needs and communicate effectively with accounting and tax professionals. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential financial information professionally. What This Role Offers: Compensation up to $75,000 , based on experience.
