Staff Accountant

We are partnering with a growing manufacturing company seeking a Staff Accountant to join its team. This is an ideal opportunity for an accountant who enjoys working closely with operations and wants to deepen their experience in inventory, cost accounting, and manufacturing finance. The company is part of a larger organization with multiple operating subsidiaries across the United States. Key Responsibilities Support the monthly close process by preparing journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and supporting schedule Assist with inventory accounting, valuation, adjustments, and work-in-process analysis Review completed work orders and research costing or inventory discrepancies Analyze standard cost variances and communicate findings to the Controller and operations team Coordinate cycle counts and assist with physical inventory procedure Partner with manufacturing, purchasing, supply chain, and operations to improve the accuracy of inventory and cost data Maintain prepaid reconciliations and AP accrual schedule Process a limited volume of vendor invoices and support purchasing-related accounting for production Perform three-way matching and resolve invoice or receiving discrepancies Reconcile Accounts Payable activity to the general ledger Assist with fixed assets, bank reconciliations, reporting, audit support, and special projects Identify opportunities to strengthen accounting processes, controls, and reporting Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Two to five years of accounting experience Exposure to manufacturing, inventory, cost accounting, or an industrial environment strongly preferred Understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close Experience reviewing work orders, standard costs, inventory activity, or cost variances preferred Strong Excel skills and experience working within an ERP system Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills #J-18808-Ljbffr 3 Bridge Networks
