Full Time Hudson, OH, US 6 days ago Requisition ID: 1064 Bookkeeper (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & Cash Reconciliation) Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to support our accounting operations. This role will be responsible for managing Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and cash reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely financial records. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable (AR) Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and on time Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances Apply cash receipts and reconcile customer payments Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies Accounts Payable (AP) Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding and approvals Prepare and execute weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wires) Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries Ensure timely payments and capture available discounts Perform daily/weekly/monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Investigate and resolve discrepancies in cash balances Maintain accurate cash records and support cash reporting General Accounting Support Assist with month-end close processes Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation Support audits by providing requested documentation Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies Qualifications 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Strong understanding of AR, AP, and bank reconciliation processes Experience with accounting software (NetSuite) is a plus.
