Manada Electric is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to determine the estimated costs of electrical projects. Ideal candidates can accurately factor all potential costs involved in electrical scopes including labor, materials, job duration, and specification requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and industrial electrical construction.

• Review and understand project data and develop methods to execute the takeoff in a timely and efficient manner.
• Compute cost factors and prepare labor and material estimates to be used for purposes such as planning, organizing, scheduling work, preparing bids, and selecting vendors and subcontractors.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation provided by customer.
• Ability to review contract documents to understand project requirements and obligations.
• Assist project management team in the purchasing of materials, services and subcontracts.
• Prepare pre construction documents for a bid turnover meeting with project management and operations team.
• Identify areas of importance or change orders and relay related information to project manager and project foreman.
• The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and engagement.
• Other duties as assigned.

Estimator | Requirements:

• Two years of electrical estimating experience required, experience with McCormick Estimating Software a plus.
• Valid driver's license required to travel to job sites or out-of-office meetings.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and construction-specific software programs.
• Must be able to navigate construction sites consisting of uneven terrain, climbing stairs and ladders, and working at heights.
• Must be able to walk long distances over uneven terrain as needed for pre-bid or construction site meetings and reviews.
• Able to work in atmospheric conditions such as extreme cold, heat, humidity, and various weather conditions.
• Must be able lift objects up to 50 pounds.
