Overview Field Service Representative - Commercial Roofing and Building Envelope - Base Salary to 80k/year - Dallas, TX Our client, a manufacturer of specialty building materials supporting commercial and industrial construction, is seeking a Field Service Representative to provide technical support, installation oversight, and quality assurance across active job sites. This role works directly with roofing contractors, general contractors, architects, and consultants to ensure proper installation of commercial roofing and building envelope systems. This is a high-travel role (70–80%), primarily supporting projects throughout Texas and Oklahoma, with multi-day travel required. Responsibilities Provide on-site technical support for commercial construction projects involving roofing systems, waterproofing systems, and building envelope materials (e.G., membranes, coatings, sealants) Conduct job site visits during active installations to verify compliance with construction documents, manufacturer specifications, and quality standards Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, submittals, and scope documents Identify installation deficiencies and recommend corrective actions in real time Perform final inspections to ensure installations meet performance and warranty requirements Train contractors and field teams on proper installation methods, sequencing, and product applications Support warranty inspections, root cause analysis, and resolution of field issues Document site visits, inspection reports, and project updates using internal reporting systems Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and internal technical teams to resolve project challenges Partner with internal sales teams to support project execution and customer satisfaction Follow all job site safety requirements and company procedures Qualifications High school diploma or GED 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing, building envelope systems, or related construction field service role Hands-on experience with roofing systems, waterproofing systems, or exterior building materials (e.G., single-ply roofing, modified bitumen, coatings, sealants, membranes) Experience performing job site inspections, installation oversight, or quality control within commercial construction environments Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and submittals Working knowledge of commercial construction practices, materials, and job site safety standards Experience interacting with contractors, general contractors, and field crews on active job sites Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and field reporting tools Ability to travel 70–80% regionally, including multi-day trips as required Compensation Base salary in the 70k – 80k/year range Medical, dental, and vision insurance starting day 1 Retirement plan with company contribution Paid time off and company holidays Ongoing technical training and development Long-term growth within a stable organization #J-18808-Ljbffr AllSearch Staffing Group
