Assistant Controller Compensation: $130,000-$155,000 Why This Opportunity Stands Out Join a company with exceptional employee tenure, reflecting strong leadership, culture, and long-term career opportunities Be part of an organization in active growth mode, including organic expansion and acquisitions High visibility role partnering directly with the Corporate Controller and senior leadership Opportunity to help scale accounting processes and controls as the business grows Exposure to complex, real-world construction accounting, including multi-entity consolidation and POC accounting Stable industry with a strong project backlog and long-standing customer relationships Make a meaningful impact by improving close timelines, controls, and reporting quality Lead and develop a team in an environment that values mentorship and internal promotion Work in a company that prioritizes audit readiness, strong controls, and doing things the right way Key Responsibilities For The Assistant Controller Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close across 15+ legal entities Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and consolidated financial statements Support SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q) and earnings-related schedules Oversee corporate AP processes and approval workflows Partner with internal and external auditors on SOX controls, walkthroughs, and testing Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes, controls, and close timelines Qualifications For The Assistant Controller Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience in a public company environment Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance Experience managing close processes in a multi-entity, decentralized organization #J-18808-Ljbffr CFS
