EHS Specialist

EHS SpecialistFII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking an EHS Specialist to support environmental, health, and safety programs and help ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the Environmental, Health, and Safety Department in a production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing. The EHS Specialist will support daily EHS operations, assist with compliance initiatives, promote workplace safety, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts while assisting the Environmental, Health, and Safety Department as needed.ResponsibilitiesAssist in implementing and enforcing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and programsSupport compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local, state, and federal regulatory requirementsConduct routine safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments throughout production and facility areasInvestigate incidents, near misses, and injuries; assist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actionsMaintain EHS records and track key metrics, including incident reports, corrective actions, and compliance activitiesAssist with the coordination and delivery of safety training, including new hire orientation and recurring employee trainingPartner with Production, Engineering, Facilities, and Human Resources to promote a proactive safety cultureIdentify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions to reduce riskSupport emergency response planning, emergency drills, and incident preparedness activitiesMaintain documentation for regulatory reporting, inspections, audits, and compliance activitiesMonitor the proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials and wasteConduct routine inspections to ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with safety requirementsAssist with the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS policies, procedures, and programsSupport workers' compensation case management and return-to-work programs as neededAssist during regulatory inspections and provide documentation requested by regulatory agenciesOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred2+ years of experience in environmental, health, and safety, occupational safety, or environmental compliance within a manufacturing environment preferredWorking knowledge of OSHA regulations and general industry safety standardsExperience conducting safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and root cause analysis preferredStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Knowledge of ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 standards preferredAbility to stand, walk, and work in a production environment for extended periods and lift up to 25 poundsReasons You Should Work For Us:Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.Basic life insurance and short-term disability coverage provided by employer.Supplemental life insurance and long-term disability coverage options available.401K with employer contribution.Personal, Vacation, and Holiday paid time off for all full-time employees.Onsite Aurora Health & Wellness Center available for all employees.Employees are continuously encouraged to learn and grow their careers in smart manufacturing.About Foxconn WIFII USA, Inc, a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is a global leader in smart manufacturing and industrial internet services.
