Project Manager- Data Center

Job TitleJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesConstant coordination and communication with Client Project ManagersChange Management – ensures any changes to the contract are identified, tracked, and communicated back to the client Project Managers.Reporting daily, weekly, and monthly on construction progressProcurement of equipment and materials as needed.Work collaboratively with vendors/suppliers to ensure materials and equipment are ordered and delivered as needed.Material tracking and managementTool and equipment tracking and management.Ensures projects are efficiently, effectively, and safely implemented in accordance with AMPP Construction's guidelines, client contracts and policies, and local/federal regulations.Assists with preparation and review of proposals.Schedule development and trackingVerifies constructability, ensures proper resource allocations, assesses field status, and resolves issues as needed.Reviews budget, schedule, quality, risk trackers, and contingency allocationsInterfaces with clients acting as a representative of AMPP ConstructionSupervises activities and/or coordinates activities or groups, such as safety programs, engineering, construction, budget management, schedulingPerforms other job-related duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related field is required.Ability to travel to project sites as needed.Communication skills – to the project manager, clients, and third partiesOrganization and multi-tasking between multiple active projectsCoordination/LogisticsComputer skills including MS Word, Excel, and MS PowerPointSchedule and Planning UnderstandingProblem solving skillsDriver's License – ability to drive throughout the USAbility to fly throughout the continental US as neededExcellent organization and time management skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsHigh level of professionalism and integrityKnowledge of typical construction means and methods preferred.Knowledge of Construction/Project Management means and methods preferred.Working ConditionsLift and carry heavy items weighing up to 50 lbs.Stand, kneel, bend, stoop, move, and walk long distances in and around confined and cluttered spaces and on uneven ground.See and hear naturally or with correction.Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with requirements of job dutiesRequires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls according to a set procedure.Requires repetitive movement.Typical construction site environmentRequires working in very hot or very cold temperatures and exposure to inclement weather such as dust, wind, snow, rain, etc.Requires working extremely bright or low lighting conditions.Includes exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
