Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with adult ICU and general care experience for a night shift travel assignment at an academic medical center.

Details

• Inpatient hospital setting in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Adult ICU and general care patient population
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
• Every other weekend required
• Floating is required
• Coverage for at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Current RRT credential required
• Missouri (MO) or Compact state license required; pending licenses may be accepted
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of overall respiratory therapy experience, with at least 1 year in the specialty
• Adult ICU and general care experience required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Must be able to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing 20 lbs or more
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of consideration
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible; candidates within 75 miles may be considered at a reduced rate

Additional Information

• Role involves respiratory and neuro diagnostics services in an acute care hospital environment
• This is an active, physically demanding position with regular patient contact, including patients with contagious illnesses
• The facility operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; rotating shifts and work during inclement weather may be required
