Title: Clinical Pharmacist – Infusion Pharmacy (Onsite)
Location: Bentonville, AR 72712 (Onsite)
Pay: $65.75/hr
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Contract: Contract-to-hire

Position Summary

We’re seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist with hands-on infusion pharmacy experience to support day-to-day pharmacy operations. This role includes prescription verification/dispensing, patient consultation, sterile compounding, inventory support, and oversight of pharmacy support staff.

Infusion pharmacy experience is required (candidates without direct infusion experience will not be considered).

Key Responsibilities

• Review, verify, prepare, and dispense prescriptions accurately and safely
• Assess prescriptions for dosing accuracy, interactions, contraindications, and overall appropriateness
• Provide patient counseling on administration, storage, side effects, and interactions (Rx and OTC)
• Perform sterile compounding and prepare sterile solutions per policy/standards
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy documentation
• Support inventory management of medications and medical supplies
• Collaborate with providers and clinical teams to resolve medication-related issues
• Supervise/guide pharmacy technicians, clerks, interns, and support staff as needed
• Educate patients on proper use of devices (e.g., glucose meters, BP monitors)

Required Qualifications

• PharmD required
• Active Arkansas Pharmacist license (in good standing)
• Hands-on infusion pharmacy experience (required)
• Sterile compounding experience/knowledge
• Strong medication safety, clinical judgment, and attention to detail
• Strong communication and patient counseling skills
