Job Description
The Production Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing daily, weekly, and monthly production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. This role leads plant employees, monitors production performance, supports training and development, and ensures production goals, quality standards, and customer delivery expectations are consistently met. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and can balance safety, productivity, accountability, and team development.

Responsibilities
• Plan and oversee daily production activities to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing operations
• Lead, coach, and develop plant employees to support productivity, quality, and safety standards
• Monitor production schedules and staffing to optimize resources and meet production targets
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment and production processes
• Track production progress, identify delays or issues, and implement corrective action as needed
• Hold team members accountable through clear feedback, coaching, and fair disciplinary practices
• Supervise employee relations, scheduling, training, evaluations, and conflict resolution
• Analyze production data and floor performance to identify trends, improve workflow, and reduce downtime
• Monitor daily KPIs and communicate expectations clearly to the team
• Collaborate with internal departments to meet customer expectations and resolve operational issues
• Oversee completion of routine preventive maintenance for production equipment
• Maintain and enforce safety policies, procedures, and compliance standards
• Foster a team-oriented culture focused on accountability, inclusion, safety, and continuous improvement
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required
• 2–4 years of related production, manufacturing, or supervisory experience required
• Strong leadership, team building, and communication skills
• Ability to lead by example and develop effective teams
• Detail-oriented with a hands-on approach in a manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices
• Strong time management, organization, and multitasking skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and results-driven mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Basic knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement preferred
• General knowledge of ISO quality systems preferred
• Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred
• OSHA 10-hour training preferred

The salary range for this position is $70,000–$74,000 annually , excluding bonuses, benefits, or other compensation. Final compensation will depend on skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
