What You’ll Be Doing As a Host at Banner Elk Cafe, you’ll be the first smiling face our guests see when they walk through the door. Your role will be essential in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like: Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner. Answer phones and assist guests with takeout orders. Manage the waitlist system and rotate seating sections efficiently. Keep the front door and host areas clean and organized. Update daily special sheets and outdoor chalkboards with new information. What We’re Looking For We’re searching for someone who brings a positive attitude and excellent organizational skills to the table.
