Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Certification in Special Education appropriate for NJ public schools
• Strong knowledge of current SPED best practices, IEP development, and progress monitoring
• Experience supporting students with a range of disabilities (mild to moderate)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to students with special needs in inclusive and pull-out settings
• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans aligned with each student’s IEP
• Assess progress regularly and participate in IEP meetings
• Partner collaboratively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents
