Litigation Paralegal / Senior Legal Assistant
Location: Minnetonka, MN (100% Onsite) Pay: $65,000-$70,000
We're seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal or Senior Legal Assistant to join a growing law firm in Minnetonka. This role supports attorneys throughout all phases of litigation and is ideal for someone who can work independently in a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file documents in state and federal courts
- Manage court deadlines and attorney calendars
- Coordinate depositions, hearings, and trial logistics
- Prepare litigation documents and deposition notices
- Organize discovery, case files, and document productions
- Assemble trial and exhibit binders
- Support attorneys with case management and trial preparation
- Communicate with courts, opposing counsel, and vendors
Qualifications
- 5+ years of litigation support experience preferred
- Experience as a Litigation Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or Litigation Secretary
- Knowledge of federal and state court filing procedures
- Experience supporting depositions, hearings, and trials
- Strong organizational, calendaring, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Paralegal certificate is a plus, but not required
- Experience in civil, commercial, business, or constitutional litigation preferred
