Entry Level Chemist
Eurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Eurofins seeks an entry-level chemist to perform analytical testing on pharmaceutical ingredients and finished products using various laboratory instruments. The role involves sample preparation, method validation, equipment maintenance, and GMP-compliant documentation in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of pharmaceutical ingredients and products
- Operate chromatographic systems, HPLC, Karl Fischer, UV/Spec, and other analytical instruments independently
- Prepare samples and standards for analysis with minimal supervision
- Set up and validate new analytical processes and execute method transfers
- Perform monthly equipment maintenance and maintain GMP-compliant documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related field
- Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without sponsorship
- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with self-motivation
- Capability to learn new techniques and manage multiple concurrent tasks
