Associate Chemist (Associate Scientist) - Environment Testing, 1st Shift

Associate Chemist position at environmental testing laboratory performing sample preparation and chemical analysis using standard analytical techniques. Role involves routine lab tasks, instrument operation, data evaluation, and quality assurance documentation under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare environmental samples using standard preparation techniques
• Perform chemical analysis and evaluate quantitative data from samples
• Record and report analytical results and unusual occurrences to supervisor
• Maintain instrument equipment, perform routine maintenance, and operate specialized instrumentation
• Manage personal training documentation and complete quality control samples on schedule

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Chemistry or related field, or 2 years laboratory experience
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking
• Authorization to work in United States without sponsorship
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
• Mathematical proficiency for calculations and data analysis
• Ability to work independently and follow written or verbal instructions
• Previous wet chemistry or laboratory/production setting experience preferred

Compensation: $18-19/hour plus 10% shift differential
