Associate Chemist - PFAS Analysis - Environment Testing - Tues-Sat, 7am-3:30pm

Eurofins seeks an Associate Chemist to prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical techniques, with focus on PFAS analysis and LC/MS instrumentation. The role involves routine laboratory tasks, data evaluation, and instrument maintenance in compliance with quality assurance protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare environmental samples using standard chemical techniques and approved methodologies
• Perform analytical testing using LC/MS and other standard instrumentation per SOPs
• Evaluate, quantify, and record analytical data; report unusual occurrences to supervisor
• Conduct routine instrument maintenance and manage training documentation and QC samples
• Maintain laboratory organization, inventory glassware and supplies, and assist other departments as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Chemistry or related field, or 2 years of laboratory experience
• Professional working proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Previous experience with PFAS analysis and/or LC/MS instrumentation preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to balance multiple tasks
• Ability to work independently following written or verbal instructions
• Comfortable performing mathematical calculations and analyzing quantitative data

Compensation: $18-19/hour
