As a Security Officer Part Time Driver Patrol in Monroe, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 04:30 PM - 02:00 AM Thur 04:30 PM - 02:00 AM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and utility customers at the front desk by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies. Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining sign-in records, and directing guests to appropriate contacts or locations. Answer and route incoming calls, receive deliveries, and communicate professionally with personnel and visitors while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Observe front-desk activity and report unusual conditions, access concerns, incidents, and policy violations to appropriate personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and providing clear information to responders. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
