Patient Transfer Coordinator

Are you a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment? We are seeking a Patient Transfer Coordinator to support patient movement and care coordination for a busy healthcare organization in Knoxville, TN.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing patient transfers
- Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, and outside facilities
- Gather and verify patient information to ensure smooth transitions of care
- Maintain accurate documentation and scheduling records
- Provide exceptional customer service while handling urgent requests
Qualifications:
- Previous healthcare, patient access, scheduling, or coordinator experience preferred
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with computer systems and electronic health records preferred
