Details Acute care hospital setting providing one-on-one patient care Caseload of approximately 50 patients per week Typical treatment sessions last 45 minutes, one-on-one with the therapist Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Thursday through Monday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM 16-week assignment requiring holiday coverage Uses Meditech for charting Requirements Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required Current BLS certification required State license required, if applicable Meditech charting experience highly preferred 1:1 patient ratio experience preferred Experience in teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II settings preferred Additional Information Responsibilities include patient assessment, evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation of long and short term goals Orientation includes non-billable modules Holiday coverage is required during the assignment RTO should be kept to a minimum and submitted at time of application Travel pairs are accepted Both local candidates and first-time travelers are accepted at the same rate Former permanent employees must wait 12 months before returning as travelers American Traveler Job ID P-745610.
