Senior AccountantApply accounting principles to analyze financial information; develop and implement Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable procedures in accordance with GAAP and established internal controls; meet tight deadlines; provide timely and accurate financial reporting; and support the achievement of company and department goals and objectives.As a Senior Accountant, you will:General ledger analysis – Asset & LiabilityAnalyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital charges.Determines proper handling of financial transactions within designated limits.Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.Make recommendations regarding the accounting of reserves, assets, and expenditures.Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare re-class journal entries when necessary401k ReconciliationPayroll ReconciliationFixed Asset reconciliation and project trackingMonth end closePrepare assigned standard and recurring journal entriesIncome Statement variance analysisFinancial audit (annual) and Bank audit (semi-annual)Participate in compilation of dataBorrowing Base (shared duty)Adhoc financial reports and analysis as neededCross train with other AccountantsWhat We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business or EconomicsA few years of relevant experience preferredMust be computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of database and reporting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Proficient working experience with ERP systems, Basic Accounting software systems. Experience with Infor Syteline.This role is full-time and fully onsite at our South Plainfield facility.Salary Range: $70,000–$85,000 per year within this range, individual pay is determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications relative to the job requirements.
