This is a hands-on leadership role that combines operational oversight with a capital investment component. The successful candidate will:

• Hold an ownership stake in the company, with equity structure and partnership terms to be negotiated.

Key Responsibilities & Investment

• Provide a capital contribution to acquire a significant ownership stake in the company and support future growth initiatives, including the expansion of the new division. A minimum six-figure investment is required, with exact structure to be discussed during the selection process.
• Oversee and refine the company’s operational and due diligence processes, including review of existing documentation, assessment of current systems, and identification of opportunities for optimization and expansion.
• Lead day-to-day operations as Chief Operations Officer, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality service and adherence to best practices across all markets.

Strategic Partnership

• Collaborate closely with The Ideal Placement’s leadership team to develop and implement a long-term strategic plan focused on scaling and expanding both existing operations and the new division.
• Participate in key executive decisions related to market expansion, service development, staffing, and strategic alliances.
• Act as a visible executive representative of the company within the senior care community, fostering relationships that support growth and brand positioning.

Operational Oversight

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the company, including staffing, marketing, client services, and high-level financial management.
• Maintain, monitor, and continuously improve all systems and processes to support scalability and quality of service.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards, and drive the efficient, effective execution of business objectives.

Growth Strategy

• Identify and pursue opportunities for expansion, including market penetration, service and product development, and strategic partnerships.
• Analyze market trends, identify new segments, and propose data-driven initiatives to support sustainable growth.
• Collaborate with leadership to prioritize and implement growth initiatives across both existing operations and the new division.

Financial Management

• Monitor and manage the company’s financial performance, including revenue, expenses, cash flow, and profitability.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, optimize margins, and reduce unnecessary costs.
• Support capital planning and funding strategies in alignment with the company’s long‑term growth objectives, including evaluating potential external financing or partnership opportunities as needed.

Exit & Long-Term Value Strategy

• Partner with leadership to develop and implement a long-term value strategy for the company, with an eye toward a future ownership transition that maximizes enterprise value.
• Explore and recommend structured exit options that align with the company’s mission and values, without relying on acquisitions or mergers, and with consideration for the interests of all stakeholders.
• Establish performance milestones and metrics that support valuation growth over time.

New Division Expansion

• Lead or co-lead the creation, development, and expansion of a new division within the company, including defining its service offering, operational model, and staffing needs.
• Help secure and allocate the capital and resources required to successfully launch and scale this division.
• Integrate the new division into the company’s broader strategic plan, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, operational standards, and financial objectives.

Description of New Division: Senior Care Cognitive Rehab & Memory Support Division

This healthcare division is dedicated to advancing care for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and related cognitive conditions. We specialize in delivering innovative rehabilitation and supportive care programs within intimate, 6–28 bed assisted living care homes.

Our multidisciplinary team of physicians and healthcare professionals utilizes emerging therapies and individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs. By fostering a supportive, structured, and nurturing environment, we aim to:

Team Leadership

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, affiliates, partners, and colleagues.
• Lead and manage a high-performing team of operations professionals, setting clear goals, expectations, and accountability.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in scaling and expanding businesses, ideally with a history of successful exits or ownership transitions.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record in operations management and business development, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and trends.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a leadership team.
• Capacity and willingness to make a meaningful capital investment in the company as a managing partner, aligned with long-term growth objectives.
• Experience in private equity, venture capital, or entrepreneurial investing is highly preferred.
• Background in investment management, transaction structuring, or deal evaluation is an asset (especially in the context of strategic growth and funding).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Governance

• The Investor Partner will play a significant role in the company’s governance, including participation in key strategic decisions and representation at the board level (or equivalent governing body).
• Collaborate with the founder and leadership team on long-term strategy, major investments, and critical operational priorities.

Compensation

• Compensation, equity participation, and governance rights will be negotiated based on the agreed investment structure and the Investor Partner’s specific contributions to the business.
