Are you an experienced Employee & Labor Relations professional who thrives in a complex, highly unionized environment? Our client, a respected and mission-driven nonprofit organization in the Greater Seattle area, is seeking an experienced Employer & Labor Relations Manager to play a key role in supporting organizational leaders, employees, and labor-management relationships.

What You'll Do

· Providing strategic guidance and hands-on support around complex employee relations issues

· Supporting a heavily unionized workforce and serving as a subject matter expert on labor relations

· Interpreting and applying Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs)

· Triaging, managing, and helping resolve employee and union grievances

· Participating in grievance meetings, labor-management discussions, mediation, and other dispute-resolution processes

· Supporting and participating in collective bargaining negotiations

· Coaching leaders through performance management, disciplinary matters, workplace conflict, and other sensitive employee situations

· Building and maintaining productive working relationships with union representatives and organizational leadership

· Identifying trends and opportunities to proactively strengthen employee and labor relations practices

What We're Looking For

· 5+ years of progressive experience in employee and labor relations

· Significant experience supporting a unionized or heavily unionized workforce

· Strong knowledge of and experience interpreting Collective Bargaining Agreements

· Demonstrated experience triaging and managing grievances

· Experience participating in or supporting collective bargaining negotiations

· Strong employee relations and leadership coaching experience

· Excellent communication, conflict-resolution, relationship-building, and negotiation skills

Additional Details :

Location: Seattle, WA (hybrid)

Salary: $40.00-$45.00/hr. (DOE)

Employment Model: Temp/Temp-to-Hire

Requirements: Must be able to pass a criminal background check
