Participates in team conferences and care planning. 4. Prepares residents for meals, assists in feeding. 5. Maintains resident's rights. 6. Makes rounds. Anticipates resident needs and responds to call lights. 7. Reports to appropriate nursing personnel pertinent information including any changes observed in condition or behavior of resident. 8. Provides input into resident care plans. 9. Assists in maintaining safe and clean environment. 10. Other duties assigned, reasonably related. 11. Assists in orientation of nursing assistants. 12. Completes daily documentation. 13. Keeps informed of fire, safety, and disaster programs. 14. Attends designated in-service programs. 15. Participates in Performance Improvement activities. 16. Attends staff meetings. Other duties as assigned.High School Diploma or GED preferred. Previous nursing assistant experience preferred, but not required. Ability to read, write, and understand written and verbal communication. Must follow universal precautions and utilize proper body mechanics. Maintains CPR certification. Act 34 Criminal Background Check required.Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Certification required within 120 days of hire through verified reciprocity or successful completion of a CNA training program.
