Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to multi-trauma and TBI patients, managing complex conditions.
• Maintain and monitor patient ratios of 1:6 on the floor and 1:3 in stepdown units.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including surgical and rehabilitation services.
• Manage and monitor stable and chronic ventilators, CPAP, and BiPAP equipment.
• Float between floor and stepdown units as needed, maintaining adaptability.
• Administer and titrate medications such as Heparin and Cardizem safely.

Qualifications

• Active State RN license and BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level 1 trauma facility.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system.
• Experience with complex wound care and managing respiratory support devices.
• Ability to read and validate telemetry strips.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and float between similar units.
