Quick Facts

• Location: Mason City, IA
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed (approx. 1-2 weeks)
• End Date/Duration: 3-12 months (extensions possible)
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Hours/Week: 40 hours/week
• Employment Type: Contract
• Licenses/Certifications: Active Dental License (preferred) or pending license, no malpractice claims
• Experience: Prior dental practice experience preferred but not mandatory

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Pay Rate: $117.75/hour

What You'll Do

• Conduct exams, diagnose dental conditions, and develop treatment plans
• Perform fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and other general dentistry procedures
• Refer complex cases to specialists when necessary
• Maintain patient records using the EMR system (EPIC WISDOM)
• Educate patients on oral health and preventive care
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure quality care delivery
• Manage a manageable caseload of approximately 16-18 patients daily

What You Need
Required:

• Dental License (licensed or pending in Iowa)
• No malpractice claims
• Ability to see patients ages 5 and up
• Experience with fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns

Preferred:

• Prior experience in a clinical setting
• Strong communication and patient management skills
