Forklift Operator

Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing organization, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management and product handling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Wichita, KS

Pay Range: $18.65

Shift: 1st or 3rd Shift

What's the Job?

• Operate powered equipment such as forklifts and clamp trucks to move, locate, and stage products and materials.
• Check inbound and outbound products for damage, infestation, and proper labeling.
• Ensure products match customer requirements and are accurately recorded in inventory systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment maintenance and safety checks.
• Assist with physical inventories and report any discrepancies or issues to management.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift operator certification or completion of a training program within the first 30 days of employment.
• At least six months of warehouse experience and forklift operation experience is desirable.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently for up to 80% of the shift.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
