Associate Attorney - Employment

Overview A law firm seeks an experienced, team-oriented associate for their Employment Practice Area in Boston, MA. The associate will assist and support attorneys in a variety of tasks including litigation, counseling, drafting, investigations, and training. This full-time position offers a hybrid schedule with three in-office days. Responsibilities Draft and revise employment policies, handbooks, and agreements. Provide counseling on HR and employment compliance matters. Litigate employment cases such as wrongful termination and discrimination. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence. Assist in all phases of litigation, including mediations and trials. Prepare and analyze discovery productions. Communicate with clients and provide legal advice and updates. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications Three to five years of experience in an employment practice area. Experience representing employers in employment disputes. Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts; multiple state Bar admissions are a plus. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills. Ability to manage time and multitask effectively. Strong research, writing, and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Member of the Massachusetts Bar. Skills Excellent organizational and communication skills. Strong research and writing abilities. Proficiency in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
