Role Description The Phlebotomy Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Raeford, NC, responsible for overseeing daily phlebotomy operations and ensuring high-quality patient specimen collection. This role includes supervising phlebotomy staff, coordinating schedules, training team members on collection techniques and safety protocols, and monitoring compliance with regulatory and company standards. The supervisor will collaborate with laboratory and clinical teams to resolve specimen collection issues, maintain adequate supplies, and support continuous process improvements. Daily tasks also involve coaching team members, addressing patient concerns professionally, documenting performance, and fostering a safe, efficient, and patient-centered work environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills and proficiency in Blood Collection, including venipuncture and capillary draws. Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology and a solid foundation in Medicine or clinical practices relevant to specimen collection. Candidates should possess experience in Medical Assisting or similar patient-facing clinical roles, with a focus on comfort, safety, and professionalism. Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a phlebotomy or clinical laboratory setting is highly beneficial. Ability to prioritize workload, manage staff schedules, and maintain quality and compliance under time constraints. Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across clinical and laboratory teams. High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in phlebotomy or medical assisting and CPR/BLS are preferred.
