Direct Support Professional (Residential Assistant) Job Category : Other Instructions/Direct Part-Time Locations Showing 1 location Hackensack, NJ 07601, USA Description Muller IRTS (Intensive Residential Treatment Service Unit) - Provides a secure, safe therapeutic environment for boys and girls ages 11-13. Duties include but are not limited to Supervise, organize, and support recreational and/or socialization activities Play an active role in leading the milieu staff through youth’s structured routine while collaborating with youth’s case manager, clinician, and prescriber Engage and interact with youth based on behavioral intervention plans Observing, documenting, and acknowledging positive behaviors Perform all other duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor level degree in a related social service field (Psychology, Sociology, Education, Public Health etc.), Psychology preferred with 1 year of experience working with youth. Must have a valid driver's license. Schedule: Weekdays or Weekends Part time or On-Call shifts. Muller IRTS is a program of Youth Consultation Service (YCS), which is a behavioral health and social services agency that has been caring for at risk children and families since 1918 in therapeutic residences, special education schools, in-home and in-community programs throughout NJ.
