Senior Abuse Analyst

Dynadot is a leading domain registrar trusted by customers worldwide to register, manage, and protect their domains. As the internet has grown, so has the scale and sophistication of the abuse targeting it, such as, phishing campaigns, malware distribution, and spam operations. Our Abuse team is on the front line of that fight, working every day to investigate reports, take decisive action, and maintain customer trust. We’re growing the team and looking for an experienced Abuse Analyst who can hit the ground running, handle a high volume of nuanced cases with sound judgment, and help us stay ahead of a constantly evolving threat landscape. Responsibilities Investigate and triage incoming abuse reports across multiple report types and severity levels Evaluate evidence and make consistent, well-documented decisions on suspensions, warnings, and other actions Communicate clearly and professionally with reporters, registrants, and law enforcement/partner organizations as needed Work cross-functionally with Support, Legal, and Engineering on complex or escalated cases Identify patterns in abuse trends and flag recurring issues Bring a critical eye to existing tools and processes, and share feedback and ideas as you get up to speed Maintain thorough, accurate case notes and documentation for every decision made Stay current on emerging abuse tactics, phishing techniques, and industry threat trends Prioritize and manage a caseload independently, escalating time-sensitive or high-risk cases appropriately Support the development and refinement of abuse handling policies and internal guidelines Assist with reporting and metrics on abuse volume, response times, and resolution outcomes Qualifications 2+ years of experience in the mitigation of domain abuse/online harms Familiarity with common abuse types: phishing, malware, spam, DMCA/UDRP-adjacent disputes Sharp judgment and confidence in making decisions based on available information Strong written communication and attention to detail A collaborative mindset Experience working with case management or ticketing systems High degree of professionalism, especially when handling sensitive or contentious cases Familiarity with internet infrastructure Strong sense of accountability and ownership over your projects and casework Benefits Full-time position Competitive salary based on experience and performance 4 weeks paid time off (PTO) per year, accrued twice per month Health benefits Collaborative, team-oriented work culture Opportunities for professional growth and skill development
