Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized cardiovascular imaging and intervention support within the Cath Lab, assisting with procedures such as angiograms, stent placements, and electrophysiology studies. Ensure patient safety and optimal imaging quality during all interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor advanced imaging equipment for cardiac procedures.
• Assist physicians during catheterization, angiography, and electrophysiology procedures.
• Maintain sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Prepare and position patients prior to procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Manage supplies and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed.
• Document procedural details accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Qualifications:

• Hold an ARRT or RCIS certification with at least 2 years of recent experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating Cath Lab imaging systems, including Paragon EMR.
• Possess strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Be able to start on 11/2 and work day shifts (4x10 hours).
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Be willing to adhere to travel compliance requirements and RTO policies.
