About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Social Marketing to join their early-stage luxury food and beverage lifestyle brand. This pivotal role involves being one of the first key marketing hires and is focused on building and owning the company's social media voice, content strategy, audience development, influencer relationships, and community engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with the Founder, the Head of Brand, and internal product experts to create a distinctive and human brand presence that is consistent, elevated, and commercially effective. Responsibilities include developing and leading the organic social media strategy, managing a content calendar, creating authentic content, and building influencer and community programs. The role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills, particularly in a startup environment, and the ability to ensure the brand's voice remains aligned with its premium and luxury positioning. The ideal candidate for the Head of Social Marketing position at the company will have a minimum of 5 years' marketing experience, with a strong background in social media and content strategy within a premium or luxury consumer brand environment. Experience in direct-to-consumer businesses, particularly where social media, storytelling, and influencer relationships have been integral to brand growth, is essential. The role demands a professional who is entrepreneurial, resourceful, and highly collaborative, with the ability to operate without the infrastructure of a large corporate marketing department. Applicants should have a proven track record in creating and leading high-quality content, as well as building and managing influencer and community programs. A genuine interest in the categories of food, beverage, craft, hospitality, and lifestyle is also a key requirement, along with the ability to work closely with founders and senior leaders.
