Behavioral Health Technician
If you are passionate about supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges, join us as a Behavioral Health Technician. In this role, you will work closely with medical professionals to implement treatment plans and provide compassionate care for patients in various settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out individual treatment plans prescribed by psychiatrists or other medical professionals.
- Monitor patients' behaviors and record observations accurately for progress tracking.
- Provide emotional support to patients while ensuring a safe and supportive environment for their recovery.
- Diffuse potentially dangerous situations by using crisis intervention techniques when necessary.
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as eating, bathing, or dressing as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement therapeutic interventions tailored to patient needs.
Work Environment:
- The role is based in hospitals, group homes, or mental health facilities where technicians work closely with patients requiring behavioral health support.
- This position requires compassion, acute observation skills, and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
