Job Description

Support students in achieving their fullest potential as a paraprofessional in a school setting near White Rock, NM. This full-time, contract opportunity features a streamlined 4-day work week, totaling 32 hours, allowing for exceptional work-life balance while making a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist licensed professionals—including VOCO facilitators, Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), and Psychologists—by supporting student learning and development
Prepare and organize classroom materials and learning activities under the guidance of lead educators
Provide one-on-one and small group instructional support tailored to student needs
Foster an inclusive environment while assisting students with classroom participation and daily routines
Monitor student progress, document observations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to adjust strategies as needed
Help coordinate virtual and in-person services to ensure seamless delivery of special programs

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

Previous experience working as a paraprofessional in schools or similar educational settings
Strong communication skills and a proactive, dependable approach
Comfort with technology, including facilitating virtual or remote services
Adaptability to support a variety of students, including those with special needs
Ability to work collaboratively with educational and therapeutic staff
Attention to detail and a commitment to fostering a safe, supportive environment for students
