Travel CVICU Registered Nurse - $2,499 per week

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel This is a 13‑week contract position. The schedule is 3×12‑hour shift (07:30 – 20:00), requiring every other weekend and holidays as scheduled. The CVICU Registered Nurse will provide specialized care for patients immediately following cardiac surgery. You will work in a fast‑paced environment with a focus on post‑operative cardiac management. Responsibilities Deliver immediate post‑operative care for cardiac surgery patients. Monitor and manage ventilated patients and other critical care equipment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory therapy and pharmacy. Administer medications and support devices, including CRRT, IABP, and Impella. Provide patient education and support to families during recovery periods. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of CVICU experience is required; 2+ years for first‑time travelers. Active RN License in Maryland or a Compact state. Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. Experience with high acuity patient management and ventilator support is preferred. Familiarity with Epic charting systems is a plus.
