Shift: 4x10.0. Days: Monday - Friday. Time: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Assignment Details:
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
- Contract Length: 19 weeks
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of recent infusion experience required
- Outpatient clinic experience highly desired
- ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification
- Current BLS certification from AHA
- Experience with Epic EMR and Alaris infusion pumps
- Strong IV/vascular access and port access skills
- Current, unencumbered RN licensure
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy and other infusions to patients in an outpatient setting.
- Provide chemotherapy teaching to patients at the chairside.
- Manage a patient assignment effectively, ensuring quality care and communication.
- Collaborate with the oncology care team to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and responses.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols related to medication administration.
