Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients referred by physicians by conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored treatment plans that address each patient’s unique needs. Implement diverse therapeutic interventions, applying evidence-based methods to treat conditions across multiple specialties, such as orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. Provide exemplary customer service to foster trust and enhance patient satisfaction throughout the treatment process. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care and outcomes, sharing insights and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the practice. Deliver skilled therapeutic care in a home setting, employing techniques that align with the established plan of care directed by the referring physician. Educate patients and caregivers on effective management of health conditions, self-care strategies, and adherence to treatment protocols. Patient Population / Client Focus You will engage with a diverse range of patients, from children to seniors, each presenting their own unique set of challenges and hopes for recovery. This includes working with individuals rehabilitating from sports injuries, surgical interventions, neurological impairments, and those requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. Cultivating personal relationships with each patient is essential, as your empathetic approach will inspire confidence and encourage their commitment to achieving functional goals. Qualifications A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution. Valid state licensure to practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in New Jersey. A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a relevant therapy setting. Current CPR certification to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients. Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with patients and colleagues. Proficient computer and word processing skills for documentation and coordination of care. A strong desire to build relationships and positively impact patients, sustaining their motivation and supporting career growth within the organization. Preferred Experience Ideal candidates will possess experience detailing a wide range of treating conditions, particularly in home care settings or outpatient environments. Familiarity with utilization of outcome measures and digital documentation is a plus, as is expertise in developing comprehensive patient education materials.
