MCC is Looking for Responsible, Service-Driven Specialists for our Warehouse Management Team

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor – Shipping and Receiving

Position Summary: Serves the primary day to day outbound shipping functions of the warehouse. Responsible for transportation in company vehicle for pickups from local vendors or deliveries to branch locations as well as perform general warehousing duties

Essential Job Functions

1. Executes the shipping of all outbound supply Sales Orders

2. Executes the shipping of items to vendors via Goods Returns

3. Executes the shipping of Sales Orders for postage meter returns

4. Coordinate the pickup of inventory procured locally via an MCC PO

5. Handle pickups or equipment deliveries using company box truck to branch locations in Jackson, TN, Ridgeland, MS and Nashville, TN

6. Provide assistance to MCC employees at warehouse counter if needed

7. Assist in performing warehouse cycle counts

8. Spot check and cycle count demo rooms

9. Monitor supplies and equipment ensuring FIFO method is adhered to.

10. Assist manager of facilities with occasional building maintenance needs

11. Assist with breakdown of cardboard and put away

12. Assist with ongoing shredding

13. Assist with receiving of deliveries from UPS and FedEx

14. Identify items with duplicate item numbers and consolidate inventory records

15. Assist with processing inventory transfers to technicians and sales reps

16. Insure all warehousing areas are organized, clean, and neat.

17. Assist the warehouse supervisors in the staging of materials for custom install projects

18. Performs other duties as required.

Essential Job Requirements:

Education: Minimum of high school diploma.

Experience: Two or more years experience in warehousing

Technical Skills: Basic proficiencies in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook

Other Competencies/Skills: Should possess a positive attitude, be motivated to improve every day. Must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and familiar with record-keeping systems. Ability to work with accuracy paying close attention to details. Should have excellent oral and written communications skills. Able to communicate effectively and confidently with customers and peers. Ability to pass a background check.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds and operate a pallet jack
