Production Support Engineer - Trading Systems

Job Summary (List Format): Level 3 DevOps / Production Support Engineer Trading Systems
- Serve as Level 3 DevOps/Production Support for trading systems, primarily supporting traders and developers in a trading floor environment (Fixed Income).
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain production software and trading applications using Linux (RH8), Azure, Python, and job automation tools (Tidal, etc.).
- Collaborate closely with trading, compliance, risk, and IT teams to operate and enhance trading platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to trading and market data systems; follow up on incidents and problem tickets.
- Implement pre-release and post-deployment verifications and integrate with deployment/automation tools (Rundeck, Azure DevOps).
- Support job automation, server provisioning, configuration of authentication/service accounts, and user access workflows.
- Work with relational databases and SQL for data querying, modification, and performance optimization.
- Integrate and configure monitoring solutions (OpsRamp, Grafana, Splunk, etc.).
- Participate in annual Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) testing.
- Define, document, and improve operational procedures, runbooks, and infrastructure.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, document corrective/preventative actions, and demonstrate a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Demonstrate ownership, flexibility to adapt to shifting business/regulatory priorities, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced trading environment.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required; 4-7 years of relevant experience preferred.
