As a Court Accountant within PNC's Schedule and Release Group Organization, you will be based in either Pittsburgh, PA or Philadelphia, PA.Court Accountant Sr must be in either Pittsburgh, PA or Philadelphia, PA. Court Accountant Sr will be required to go into either a Pittsburgh or Philadelphia office monthly for team meetings. Court Accountant Sr will be responsible for terminating trusts, prepare the schedule to terminate accounts, they need to make sure that all beneficiaries are receiving their shares accurately. They will prepare the distribution schedule. They will receive legal documents from beneficiaries being signed in person. They will review what is done legally, then prepare the distribution of the trusts. Responsible for timing. MATH SKILLS ARE CRITICAL!!! Lots of numbers being worked on. DETAIL ORIENTATED!!!. Strong communication skills with service partners will be needed.This position may be eligible for remote work in select geographic locations, subject to approval by PNC. If approved, work must be conducted from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace. Occasional in-office participation may be required based on business needs.PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.Job DescriptionActs independently to perform complex accounting duties and prepare distribution schedules of assets, following state and local jurisdiction requirements to expedite termination of complex revocable, irrevocable or other trust accounts. Disseminates accountings to trust administration, attorneys, trust beneficiaries or the appropriate court.Acts independently to prepare accountings and distribution schedules for complex accounts.Retrieves, compiles and analyzes complex data from various sources to respond to court-mandated requests.Identifies and resolves discrepancies by researching, troubleshooting and analyzing.Reviews bank fees paid to date in terminating accounts.
