Accountant

Immediate Staff Accountant need in West Palm Beach to be responsible for reconciling balance sheet accounts, maintaining AR/AP schedules and detailed recordkeeping of confidential financial information. While core office and lifestyle operations support are included, primary emphasis is placed on general ledger accounting and maintaining accurate recording keeping on expenses, and cash management. What you will be doing: Assist with maintaining general ledgers for multiple LLCs, family trusts, operating entities, and personal accounts using QuickBooks. Ensure AP/AR workflows, process electronic bill payments, and execute wire transfers and intercompany journal entries with strict dual-control protocols. Assist with monthly bank, credit card, and intercompany account reconciliations across all entity and personal accounts, resolving variances and maintaining accurate cash balance monitoring. Maintain general ledgers for residences; track, allocate, and approve operating expenses alongside estate managers, yacht captains, and aviation operators. Review vendor agreements, verify utility and facility invoicing, and manage local office operations and supplies. Support executive travel and lifestyle operations by verifying, tracking, and accounting for private charter bookings, luxury accommodations, and special project expenditures. Uphold financial controls and maintain absolute discretion regarding proprietary balance sheets, estate documentation, and family assets. What is required: 5+ years bookkeeping and/or general ledger experience within a Family Office or corporate accounting Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop/Online, Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs), and Microsoft 365. Understanding of fiduciary accounting principles, trust structures, and estate documentation.
