Walter’s Automotive Group is looking for a motivated and creative Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing Department in Riverside. This is a full-time, entry-level position ideal for someone looking to grow their experience in digital marketing, social media, events, and automotive marketing.
The Marketing Assistant will support day-to-day marketing efforts across our automotive brands and work closely with the Marketing Director, dealership managers, and outside vendors.
Responsibilities
- Assist with creating, scheduling, and posting content across social media platforms
- Help coordinate and execute dealership events and promotional activities
- Make routine website updates, including updating specials, banners, and other content
- Coordinate with dealership managers to gather current promotions, offers, and marketing needs
- Update and maintain service specials across dealership websites and marketing channels
- Assist with email marketing campaigns
- Help organize marketing assets, photos, videos, and creative materials
- Coordinate with photographers, videographers, agencies, and other marketing vendors
- Assist with reviewing dealership websites and third-party listings for accuracy
- Support digital advertising and marketing campaigns
- Help ensure marketing materials follow brand and dealership guidelines
- Assist with additional marketing projects and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Comfortable working with different departments and dealership managers
- Basic knowledge of Canva, social media content creation, or digital marketing is a plus
- Automotive dealership experience is not required, but is a plus
- Must be dependable, proactive, and willing to learn
